Domain Test Lead

Introduction

Our client is a global blue-chip business in the consumer products industry with a reputation for innovation and quality and an impressive range of products. They are currently looking for a Domain Test Lead.

Within this key role you will be responsible for the (end-to-end) testing and performance framework and process that will be utilized the company programmes.

Job Description

• Developing and maintaining an overall Risk and Requirement based Test Strategy and approach for the responsible Domain that is in line with the overall Test Strategy.
• Understanding business requirements, design the approach and plan for the test phases for a project with a focus on integration test and acceptance test
• Manage risks, changes, dependencies and reporting on all domain projects in a timely manner.
• Manage the specification, execution, and evaluation of the test activities for a project, with teams of internal- and/or external experts provided by external service providers (possible offshore). In close collaboration with key-users.
• Organising capacity/assets/resources during the different testing phases for a project, ensuring that testing is executed (and communicated) in the most effective and efficient way.
• Identifying test innovations and opportunities with the use of metrics for the improvement of work practices process and support their implementation.

Requirements

• 4 years or more experience as test manager responsible for end-to-end test strategy (managing test teams) in complex application development and system integration projects.
• 2 years or more experience in managing multiple concurrent end-to-end testing projects and reporting to management.
• Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field. Masters Degree is a plus
• Experience with Testing tools (Quality center). In depth knowledge of ITIL or COBIT. TMAP experience preferred
• Desirable experience: Oracle EBS, Siebel, OBIEE, Websphere Process Server.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
